Policy for Claiming Your Rent Rebate in eligible apartments.

1. You must sign a lease in an apartment that is included in the list of the eligible apartments on the AptSeek.com web site.
• Only apartments from the eligible apartments list are eligible. Not every apartment listed on AptSeek.com has a rent rebate.
• AptSeek must verify that you signed a valid lease, and that you heard about the apartment through AptSeek.com, before we can route your request.
2. You must tell the apartment complex that you saw or received/referred information about them, the apartment, on Aptseek.com. This helps us to verify all the information much faster and that you used Aptseek.com to find the property.
• When calling the property, tell them you saw or referred to them by Aptseek.com.
• When visiting the property and/or the actual rental apartment, tell the leasing agent(s) that you found their property(s) on Aptseek.com.
• You should indicate Aptseek.com as your referral source on any guest cards, pre-registration forms, application and any other paper or electronic documentation.
• Do not, under any circumstances, go to the rental property / apartment complex office with a Real Estate Agent or Broker that is not working with or for AptSeek. This will immediately void your eligibility to receive the rent rebate.
3. You must have had either a guest member (free) or paid member account on the Aptseek.com website prior to visiting the property, and within the 60 days prior to your lease signing.
• You must provide Aptseek.com with the name, phone number, email address, PIN number / password and/or any other information requested for the person(s) listed on the Aptseek.com account. Aptseek.com must be able to verify that you and/or your roommate(s)/immediate family member(s) had an account on our website within the designated time frame.
• You are not required to have an upgraded or paid account to receive the rent rebate reward. Guest member (non-paying) accounts are entitled, as long as they meet all the requirements in this agreement.
• Current employees of the apartment complex involved are not eligible for a rent rebate
• Current or former tenants of the apartment complex are not eligible for a rent rebate.
• Only one (1) rent rebate per eligible rental apartment is allowed. If more than one tenant in the apartment had an Aptseek.com account, requests will be processed in the order they where received, and only the first request that meets all eligibility and verification requirements will receive a rent rebate.
4. You must submit your request for a rent rebate online using the rent rebate form on the Aptseek.com homepage.
• All requests must be submitted within 15 days of the rental property lease signing .
• You may be asked to provide supporting documentation (copy of a signed lease, for example). At the lease signing, ask for a copy of the lease with your signature.
• Supporting documentation (if requested) can be faxed to Aptseek.com, mailed to our office.
• Your rent rebate will be paid to you as quickly as possible, see Q&A it is subject to the property verifying your lease, your information, and the rental property / apartment complex paying us our advertising fee. In most cases, this will take much less than 60 days, but it may take longer. We will communicate to you in case of any delay.
• The amount of the rent rebate may vary by unit, by building, or by property, and can range from $50 to $500. You can find out what is the rent rebate amount on the Aptseek.com website by emailing your agent or apartment locator. Aptseek.com will strives for accuracy, however you agree to hold Aptseek.com harmless for any misprints, typos, or inaccuracies.
• You will be mailed a visa gift card to the address of your new apartment listed on your signed lease. Cash will not be given to you.
